2 W DC-DC converters

Traco Power has launched two new series of compact 2 W DC-DC converters.

The TES 2M and THI 2M series both provide a high I/O-isolation voltage of 4000 V a.c, making them suitable for many applications in instrumentation, industrial controls, medical equipment and everywhere where supplementary or reinforced insulation is required to meet safety standards. Full SMD design with exclusive use of ceramic capacitors ensures very high reliability and long product lifetime.

The converters are available for input voltages of 5 V, 12 V and 24 V, with output voltages of 5 V, 12 V and 15 V supplying currents between 66 mA and 400 mA. They are capable of operating in temperatures between -40°C and +71°C.

With a new package design, the TES 2M series is qualified for the higher solder temperature profiles in lead-free solder processes. For automated SMD production lines the devices can be supplied in tape and reel packaging.
