Portasol supplies a range of butane powered soldering irons to suit a range of user’s needs.
The Portasol Technic is a pocket portable variant which is adjustable from 10 to 60 W equivalent power, and features
10-second refill, auto switch off, built-in ignitor and excellent build quality. Accessories include a range of tips including a hot knife tip for nylon rope and polymer cutting.
The Portasol Professional is well suited to a range of repair and maintenance tasks. It operates on butane gas, with adjustable power from 10 to 60 W equivalent, and a runtime of 60 minutes between refills. In kit form the Professional is a versatile heat tool combining four products in one: soldering iron, blowtorch, hot knife and hot air for heat shrinking.
The Pro Piezo was designed for users who prefer the smaller pocket size. It is the new version of the Professional model, updated to feature a longer runtime of 90 minutes, more power (10 to 75 W equivalent) and piezo ignition.
The Portasol ‘Super Pro’ provides up to two hours’ continuous use and can be refilled in seconds. Adjustable temperature control provides the equivalent of between 25 and 125 W of power. This top of the range soldering tool, with distinctive stainless steel sleeve, is suitable for the automotive, electronics and telecom industries.
