The ID'R Plus is a caller identification test set from Tempo that identifies over 18 different caller ID formats. It has a simple, one button operation and provides: DC voltage testing; line noise testing; caller ID (CID) testing; visual message waiting indicator (VMWI); caller ID on call waiting (CIDCW).

This test set has many other attractive features including manual or auto off, 30+ hours of continuous use, weather resistant construction, and a high resolution LCD for improved viewing. In addition to delivering the date, time, telephone number, and name (where available), CID also performs tests that indicate excessive noise or the absence of battery.

The unit has dimensions 127 x 81 x 38 mm and weighs 230 g (with battery). Other specs: CAS detect -14 to -32 dBm/tone; CAS reject less than -45 dBm; ACK generation in accordance with SR-TSV-002476 (Type II); CID detect -40 to -10 dBm.
