Hitachi’s display products group has announced the introduction of a new 10,4” TFT display module featuring IPS (in-plane-switching) display technology. The new TX26D12VM0AAA features an aspect ratio of 4:3 and a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels (SVGA). A high-brightness, long-life LED backlight is employed, featuring an integrated dimming function which enables ease of control of the backlight brightness in differing ambient lighting conditions.
Hitachi’s industrial display module product line up continues to implement IPS technology which provides a stable colour image from any viewing angle, excellent colour saturation and a high contrast ratio. Well suited for use in process control displays, diagnostic systems and monitoring applications, the TX26D12VM0AAA provides a contrast ratio of 800:1 and brightness of 450 cd/m². The use of IPS technology allows it to support viewing angles of 170° in both horizontal and vertical planes without any significant reduction in contrast.
The 20-pin LVDS input signal interface enables the display to be used remotely from any driving electronics. The LVDS interface also provides support for either 6-bit or 8-bit RGB display data enabling up to 262 K or 16,7 M colours to be displayed. The 10,4 inch display module has external dimensions of 243 (w) x 185,1 (h) x 11 mm (d), an operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C and a weight of 560 grams.
Also introduced is the TX26D12VM0APA which features an integrated analog resistive touch panel. Ideal for many industrial applications requiring a high visibility display image, the displays are suitable for use in public information displays, security surveillance, video monitoring and many other high end industrial applications.
