Camden’s new vented CNMB/12 snap fit DIN-rail enclosure is 210 mm long and features ventilation slots moulded into both sides of the body to provide improved heat dissipation compared with fully enclosed models. Having moulded vents saves users the difficulties associated with machining enclosures, increasing productivity and reducing assembly costs. The moulded vents also result in a stronger moulding compared to a similar enclosure with machined ventilation slots.
The enclosure is supplied complete with 12 terminal guards as standard, eight perforated on 5,08 mm pitch and four solid. Its features include snap-on terminal covers to IP20 finger protection with perforated screwdriver and wire entry holes and tabs as standard, as well as spring loaded DIN-rail clips that can be snapped open to allow chassis/surface mounting. Terminal covers and snap-in panels can also be provided to customer specifications for volume orders. Other optional features include EMC shielded metallic coated boxes.
