One new category of test equipment that has been added is bus converters/adapters, which can convert from USB to I²C, SPI, high-speed (50 MHz) SPI, CAN (controller area network) and UART-TTL. Some other new additions are the DSO-1200 handheld oscilloscope and the PC-based DSO-5200A oscilloscope, which offers high speed and advanced functionality such as FFT.
