The DC/DC power supply systems of the series MPG from MTM Power are designed for applications such as transportation, telecommunications and the charging of lead batteries during standby parallel operation.
The modular and scalable system is based on the DC/DC converters of the series PCMD200W and PCMD400W. The MPG2 series is available with two plug-in positions and a total output power of 500–800 W and the MPG3 series with three plug-in positions and a total output power of 750–1200 W. With different, wide input voltage ranges between 14,4 and 154 V d.c., the devices supply an output voltage of 12, 24, 48, 72 and 110 V d.c. The system can be switched into energy-saving standby operation via a remote control input.
Further features include signalling of input and output voltage by an LED, as well as a potential-free power good signal. The whole system is passively cooled by convection and is designed for an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +70°C.
