Cobar has announced the launch of Cobar MCI-2330, a new stencil cleaning agent. MCI-2330 is developed for the removal of solder paste and adhesive residues from all types of stencils. Additionally, it can be used in immersion and ultrasonic cleaning equipment for removal of paste and/or flux residues on stencils and printed circuit assemblies. This non-hazardous cleaner is odourless and can be transported without any limitation by land, sea and air.
According to Stan Renals, managing director – CEO Cobar Division, said, “We are well aware that manufacturers have several options when it comes to fulfilling their cleaning requirements. When it comes to developing a new product, first and foremost we must ensure that it will offer a positive impact on the manufacturing process and, just as importantly, that it will deliver a cost-effective package. Only then will we bring a new product to market. We have delivered on all the criteria we have set ourselves with this new product and early indications show that it is well received in the industry.”
