Kycon has introduced a mid-mount option to its existing Micro-USB product line.
The new KMMLX series utilises the mid-mount design for increased stability while still providing a 50% more compact footprint (in comparison to Mini USBs) that allows for greater space-saving solutions in portable devices.
The KMMLX series expands the existing Micro-USB KMMX series which now includes a Micro-B receptacle mid-mount style, surface mount shielded Micro-B receptacle, and a surface mount shielded Micro-AB receptacle. All Micro-USB products meet the USB Implementers Forum specification, which supports the USB On-The-Go (OTG) supplement, allowing users ease of portable point-to-point connectivity.
