Li-Ion battery clip

With the introduction of a new low-profile, through-hole battery clip for Lithium-Ion cells from 17 to 19 mm diameters, Keystone Electronics has targeted increasing demands for accommodating higher energy, lower weight rechargeable batteries placed in mobile products.

Engineered to withstand the rigorous use associated with recharging cycles in addition to shock and vibration, the clip (part number 54) features a 3-legged, THM design for extra strength and stability plus low profile placement into dense printed circuit boards. It not only holds 3,7 V rechargeable batteries, but will also accommodate A, 2/3A, 17335, 17450, 17500, 17650, 18500 and 18650 size cells.

The design is manufactured from 0,30 mm thick spring steel with Tin Nickel plate finish. It holds battery cells firmly and securely in position and is specifically suited for higher energy, lower weight portable electronics for medical, telecommunications and industrial usage.
