TDK-Lambda has developed a new range of power supplies specifically targeted towards LED applications requiring high reliability.
Suited for all indoor and outdoor LED lighting installations, as well as digital signage and industrial applications, these 12 W supplies are IP66 rated and accept a wide universal AC input.
The new LED power supplies are available in two output modes: the LDV12 series provides a constant voltage of 12 V, 15 V and 24 V while the LDC12 series provides a constant current of 350 mA and 700 mA. Both series are convection cooled, operating between -10°C and +60°C without derating, with guaranteed startup at -20°C and output efficiency of 82%. Standard features include short circuit, overload and over-voltage protection. The units are compact, measuring 90 x 34,5 x 21 mm, and are mounted in a vibration and shock resilient sealed case.
As well as being EN55015, EN55022, VCCI, CISPR22 and FCC compliant (achieving class B conducted and radiated emissions), the power supplies meet UL1310 (Class 2), EN61347-1 and EN61347-2-13 safety approvals and carry the CE mark. To ensure long term reliability, all models meet EN61000-4-2, -3, -4,
-5, -6, -8, -11 immunity standards together with a MTBF of over 700 000 hours and a calculated e-cap life of up to 10 years, supported by a three-year warranty.
