TDK-Lambda has introduced a 60 W model into its PXF family of DC-DC converters. The new unit operates from a 2:1 input and is suitable for datacom, telecom, instrumentation and test and measurement applications.
As with other models in the PXF series, the PXF60 is a fully isolated converter that features six-sided shielded metal cases which reduce the radiated noise to meet EN55022 Level A specifications for conducted and radiated emissions. In addition, the PXF60 models are available with an input of either 18 to 36 V or 36 to 75 V, nominal 24 V or 48 V input. The PXF60 converters provide a total output power level of up to 60 W and are available with common single-output voltages from 3,3 V to 15 V. Footprints for these devices are 50 x 50 x 10 mm.
The devices boast efficiencies of up to 90%, meet IEC/UL/EN60950 safety approvals and are CE marked. Remote on/off, output trim, and over-current and over-voltage protection circuitry are standard features.
