Beta LAYOUT offers 30% discount on PCBs

27 October 2010 News

To commemorate its first anniversary of operating in South Africa, Beta LAYOUT is offering a 30% discount on all FR4-based PCB-POOL orders placed online.

While the company specialises in prototype and medium volume PCB production, it also produces etched and laser cut stencils, miniature reflow kits and assembly items, as well as custom cut front panels, all of which are available to purchase via www.beta-layout.co.za. Also downloadable under the online ‘Services’ section is Target 3001, a free layout and front panel design software package.

Customers wishing to take advantage of the 30% discount are advised to do the following:

1. Logon to the website and specify where they heard about the promotion.

2. Enter board details and file name. If the design uses SMD components and requires a stencil then a free stencil will be supplied with the PCBs. The shopping cart image will then turn red, at which point it can be clicked on to proceed to the next page.

3. The price with the 30% discount will appear on this page. If the 30% reduction does not appear for some reason then click ‘add voucher code’ and enter ‘beta2010’. Then click ‘proceed to checkout’ at the bottom of the page.

4. A login page appears, allowing returning customers to login or new customers to register. After agreeing to the terms and conditions, customers can upload their data on the final screen.

An order confirmation will be sent via e-mail once the order is processed. After comprehensive design rule checks are run on the submitted data, a PDF of the individual layers will be uploaded to the user’s account to allow them to confirm that the data is as expected. During the manufacturing process, Beta LAYOUT provides customers with regular updates, providing high-resolution photos of the PCB as it moves through the stages of production.
