Power-One announced the availability of its SFD1200-12BG front-end DC-DC power supply. This 1200 W product provides a 12 V d.c., 99,2 A maximum rated output and features efficiencies up to 91% from a -48 V d.c. input. With a 78 mm width, the SFD1200-12BG fits comfortably in a low-profile 1U chassis with 290 mm depth.
Features include a standby 3,3 V @ 3 A output, as well as I²C monitoring and control. Protections include output over-voltage, output over-current and over-temperature. The power supply meets international safety requirements for ITE and is CE marked to the low voltage directive (LVD). The SFD1200-12BG may be used together with the AC input SFP1050-12 to provide a strategy for dual AC or DC input for telecom and datacom equipment.
