Supertex recently débuted the MD1820, MD1821 and MD1822, a family of four-channel, high-voltage, high-speed MOSFET driver ICs. They are designed to drive complementary P- and N-channel MOSFETs in applications that require high-speed and high-output current, such as medical ultrasound imaging, nondestructive testing (NDT) equipment and CCD-based products, including high-resolution cameras and scanners.
This family of drivers offers various output configurations. The MD1820 has four non-inverting outputs while the MD1821 has four inverting outputs; the MD1822 has two inverting and two non-inverting outputs. All of them are available in a 3 x 3 mm, 16-lead QFN package and feature matched 6 ns rise and fall time and very low jitter, which are essential to ensure accurate Doppler measurements and clearer imaging.
