Manson’s SPS-8250 and SPS-9250 are high-power switching mode power supplies suitable for a wide range of uses, including radio equipment and car stereo work. The 9250 features a 3-digit LED display while the 8250’s analog display is capable of displaying voltage (0–20 V) and current (0–30 A) simultaneously.
Both power supplies source up to 25 A and provide a variable output from 3 to 15 V d.c., in addition to a fixed 13,8 V output. They include overload, over-temperature and over-voltage protection as standard, and are further protected by a variable-speed, thermally controller fan. Load regulation is 200 mV, line regulation is 50 mV across the 190–254 V a.c. input range, and power factor correction > 0,95 is achievable.
