TVS diodes

Bourns announced the introduction of four new ESD/EFT/surge protection series products designed to meet the space-constrained needs of telecom, consumer, industrial, medical, audio and instrumentation applications. The new transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diodes offer protection for surge and ESD threats and are available in industry standard SMT package size formats. The new RoHS compliant diodes comply with IEC 61000-4-2 ESD (Min. Level 4), IEC 61000-4-4 EFT and IEC 61000-4-5 surge industry standards. The chip diodes provide ease of manufacturability with standard pick and place equipment and the flat configuration minimises roll away.

The new TVS diodes offer a choice of working peak reverse voltage from 5 V up to 170 V and breakdown voltage up to 200 V.
