Mean Well has introduced a new, 240 W AC/DC power supply series for mounting onto DIN rail. With a 180 to 550 V a.c. input range, the WDR-240 can be used in general power system with single-phase 230 V a.c. input or can capture any two phases from the 330–550 V a.c. three-phase power system.
The power supplies exhibit efficiency as high as 91% and can provide 240 W continuously at up to 50°C, or can be derated to operate at up to 70°C. They come in a slim, 63 mm wide housing and can be operated normally in frozen areas, thanks to their low-temperature power-on ability at -30°C.
Standard functions include DC OK relay contact alarm signal output, front panel LED indicator, front panel DC voltage adjustment, as well as protection for short-circuit, overload, over-voltage and over-temperature. The WDR-240 series complies with UL/CB/CE certificates and also meets the EMC requirements of heavy industry immunity level (EN61000-6-2).
