PLC relay system

2 March 2011 Switches, Relays & Keypads

The new PLC-PIT coupling relays from Phoenix Contact can be simply and quickly connected up without tools thanks to the push-in terminal (PIT). The push-in connection technology permits a high degree of usability and ergonomics. Using this connection technology, even small wires from 0,34 mm² and larger – such as sensor wires – can be reliably and simply connected, as insertion is easy. With the PLC relay system, customers can choose between three connection systems: screw, spring cage or PIT spring clamp connection.

Just as with the complete PLC relay system, PLC-PIT coupling relays are just 6,2 mm wide and are available in many special versions in addition to the universal types. A complete range of accessories with system cable adapters, feed terminals and plug-in bridges are available for the relay system.
