Interconnection
IDE’s Mundial series of plugs and sockets are made from high-strength, halogen-free plastic and are offered in a wide range of voltages, from 24 to 500 V, and from 10 to 125 A. They conform to EN 60309-1 and EN 60309-2 norms and are available in IP44, IP54 and IP67 degrees of protection.
The parts’ lids admit an opening angle of +180° and their design is not only aesthetic but also confers strength. The body uses an ergonomic design to ease handling, and conduit entry is made through a cable gland to ensure protection against the access of water and other foreign elements to internal parts. Opening and closing is performed through a clipped-on device and cable connection by screws, placed on the sides and aligned to the same direction. All screws and the lid spring are protected against corrosion.
