AVX has expanded its stacked, surface mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) product offering. Designated the RH series, the range extension features 50 V and 100 V devices with maximum capacitance values of 33 μF and 22 μF respectively. The capacitor series provides excellent over-voltage protection and ripple current capability, while offering low ESR.
Featuring a stress relieving lead frame, the RH series is ideal for any application requiring board stress relief. Suitable for military and aerospace applications, the parts can be used as input and output filter capacitor in high frequency DC-DC converter applications above 10 W, where high volume and low cost are required.
The capacitors are available in RoHS and non-RoHS versions, and are sold in tape-and-reel packaging or waffle trays.
