A.E. Petsche has announced an agreement appointing Arrow Altech Distribution (AAD) as the exclusive distributor of its products in South Africa.
The agreement allows AAD preferred access to A.E. Petsche’s broad range of electrical interconnect products, including wire and cable used primarily in the defence and aerospace industries. As part of this announcement, AAD has committed to hold sufficient inventory of these products locally, which will be stocked in the company’s warehouse and distribution hub situated at Jet Park, Johannesburg.
Andrew Bright, managing director for EMEA at A.E. Petsche indicated, “This agreement supports our broad-based relationship with AAD and our key customers in South Africa. Furthermore, it will allow local market access and support of all A.E. Petsche’s high-performance Mil Aero interconnect and wire and cable products.” A.E. Petsche’s president Glenn Davidson, added, “While this is an important announcement for A.E. Petsche Company and Arrow Altech Distribution, it is particularly good news for our South African customers who need immediate access to the products and related technical services.”
According to Philip du Preez, AAD managing director, the partnership with A.E. Petsche is aligned with AAD’s strategic growth plan to be the clear no. 1 provider of electronic components, modules, interconnect products, services and solutions to South African defence/aerospace, commercial and industrial users.
