Online resource for EPCOS sample kits

30 March 2011 News

In order to offer design engineers better support, TDK-EPC has developed a new online service listing all available sample kits from EPCOS.

The service can be accessed at www.epcos.com/samplekit under the header ‘Design Support’. The ordering process also runs directly via the EPCOS website: a single click on the shopping cart sends the ordering code directly to the distributor Farnell, who has all the offered sample kits in stock.

Thanks to the worldwide availability of these sample kits (Farnell is represented in SA by Electrocomp Express), they can be quickly delivered, thus saving developers valuable time. For each sample kit, the developer finds a brief description giving the advantages for various applications, the most important specifications and links to current data sheets. The components for an inductor kit, for instance, are listed with various inductance values and electrical specifications. Sample kits for protection components, SAW filters, data line and power line chokes, SMT inductors and SMT power inductors can now be ordered online.
