Ritar’s OPzV range of tubular gel batteries provides capacities ranging from 200 Ah to 3000 Ah, and conforms to Germany’s DIN40742 standard and IEC60896-21/22. They feature single cell construction and 2 V nominal voltage, and are targeted at applications such as solar and wind energy, telecommunications, electric vehicles, power storage plants, uninterruptible power supplies and security/emergency lighting.
The batteries are designed for a floating life of more than 20 years at 25°C and self-discharge below 2% per month. They can be operated at temperatures between -40°C and +70°C.
