RECOM has extended its product family of isolated AC-DC power modules with fully regulated, single- or dual-output models for applications with low power or standby function.
The new RAC series now offers 6 W output power with wide inputs from 90–265 V a.c. The RAC-06 family combines high efficiency with short circuit protected DC outputs of 3,3, 5, 9, 15 and 24 V single or ±5, ±12, ±15 V dual. Line regulation is specified at 0,3%, load regulation is <±0,5% and does not require post regulation, while efficiencies reach 80%.
The converters are available for both PCB-mounting or with flying leads. The compact RAC 06 also features an integrated input filter to EN55022 Class B, offers 3 kV a.c. isolation and is CE and UL certified. Designed for an extended operating lifetime (MTBF >400 000 hours), they carry a 3 year warranty. Typical applications include instrument amplifiers, test and measure instrument equipment, microcontrollers, or simply as AC/DC power supplies for panel mounting within enclosures.
