Intersil added to its high-precision operational amplifier portfolio with the introduction of the ISL28208, a precision, ground-sensing input, rail-to-rail output, 3 V to 40 V powered dual op-amp designed for industrial control applications.
The device features wide common-mode range inputs that function below ground and a rail-to-rail output that offers design flexibility for single- or dual-supply operation. Its rugged input stage provides tolerance to sustained input overloads. The op-amp incorporates the precision, power efficiency, voltage range and ruggedness to operate in highly demanding applications. It features low offset voltage (230 μV maximum), low temperature drift (0,1 μV/°C typical), 123 dB common mode rejection ratio and 128 dB power supply rejection ratio. In addition, power consumption is only 2 mW per channel operating from a 12 V supply.
Fabricated using Intersil’s proprietary precision silicon-on-insulator (SOI) bipolar process technology, the ISL28208 exhibits robust latch-up immunity. ESD ratings of 3 kV human body model and 300 V machine model increase system reliability in harsh industrial environments.
