EXFO announced the launch of the latest innovations in its line of handheld field testers: the FTB-880 NetBlazer multiservice tester for all DSn/PDH, SONET/SDH and Ethernet packet-based services up to 10G rates, and the FTB-810x NetBlazer series transport tester, which provides a complete test suite for DSn/PDH and SONET/SDH interfaces up to 10 Gbps – both housed on the portable
FTB-1 platform.
FTB-880 NetBlazer is designed for the deployment of multiservice network elements and services used in access/metro networks, including mobile backhaul. Its FLEX configuration enables the configuration of any combination of rates and interfaces on the module for an exact match to meet field technician requirements.
The FTB-810x NetBlazer series comes equipped to test DSn/PDH and SONET/SDH circuits in both access and metro networks. The series offers complete, fast and intuitive transport test solutions for field technicians to turn up, validate and troubleshoot transport circuits covering T1/E1 to OC-192/STM-64 testing up to 10 Gbps.
