Grafo Wiremarkers Africa is now marketing the Brady Jet-ID industrial inkjet printer to manage all marking systems to print tags for cable and wire identification. Both black and white and colour graphics printing allows the user to create custom tags with logos and images.

This printer can be used for cables, terminal blocks, instrumentation, pushbuttons, rating plates and components in sectors such as process automation and industrial, electrical and machine tool plants.

There are two desktop versions: the smaller Jet-ID that is sized at a compact 430 x 630 x 300 mm, weighs 14 kg and has 768 nozzles, and the larger capacity Jet-ID Basic with 1440 nozzles that weighs in at 22 kg and is sized at 595 x 280 x 530 mm.

The inkjet technology used in the printers produces high print quality at a high dpi resolution. The unit is equipped with separate ink cartridges and a nozzle control system that keeps the print head clean. Suitable for both high and low volumes, the automatic feeder plate allows the user to print only the quantity of tags required to avoid wastage.

The Jet-ID prints on Brady’s Modernotecnica polycarbonate tags, available in over 70 types that can withstand temperature ranges from -40°C to +140°C and are self-extinguishing to UL94V0.
