GAÏA Converter has announced the release of a new 200 W range of high-reliability DC-DC converters.
The input voltage ranges available are 9–45 V d.c. (up to 60 V d.c. with derating), 16–80 V d.c. (14–100 V d.c. with derating) or 33–180 V d.c., making the devices suitable for use where wide input ranges are required. The units are offered with single outputs, with nominal output voltages of 3,3 V, 5 V, 12 V, 15 V or 24 V d.c. available. The output trim range can be set between 10% and 110% of the nominal output voltage. Units can be configured to operate in series for increased output voltage, or in parallel for up to 1200 W power requirements.
The converter modules measure 75 x 50 x 13,5 mm and require very limited external hardware thanks to integrated LC filter circuits. The units are also designed with ‘3D heat dissipation’ in mind, allowing versatility in system design as any of the unit surfaces can be used for the heat transfer path, aided by different optional pin-out configurations.
As with all devices and solutions from GAÏA, the devices have been tested and are in full compliance with environmental qualifications for MIL-STD-202A, MIL-STD-202G, MIL-STD-810G and compliance with the MIL-STD-461 EMI Standards are easily met with external filter modules offered by GAÏA.
