Intersil has extended its family of precision op-amps, introducing a new 5 V, chopper-stabilised, zero drift device. The ISL28134 is designed for amplifying small signals in analog front ends that interface to pressure, temperature, medical, strain gauge and inertial sensors. With rail-to-rail input/output capability, it is also suitable for low-noise instrumentation systems by providing amplification before 24-bit delta sigma ADCs. The IC exhibits noise voltage from 0,1 Hz to 10 Hz of only 0,25 μV peak-to-peak, offset voltage of 2,5 μV max and drift of 15 nV/°C. Operating current consumption is 675 μA and CMRR is 135 dB.
