Circuit & System Protection
Legrand’s range of air circuit breakers offers solutions for efficient protection, enhanced safety and continuity of service in commercial, industrial and domestic applications. DMX³ units, which are fitted with advanced electronic control and protection units, are designed for the protection and control of low-voltage installations up to 4000 A.
All devices in the DMX³ range have the same dimensions and an identical front panel which means they can be mounted behind the same faceplate. DMX³-N, DMX³-H and DMX³-L units are available in two sizes, with three breaking capacities (50 kA, 65 kA and 100 kA).
The circuit breakers are available in fixed and draw-out versions. The fixed version is supplied with rear terminals for horizontal connection. The draw-out version, with additional locking facilities, is supplied with a base equipped with flat rear terminals and lockable safety shutters. The lock-out facility, easy interchangeability and physical separation of the installation means no disconnection is required. This enhances safety while work is being carried out.
