MikroElektronika, a well known producer of microcontroller-related development tools, has appointed Dizzy Enterprises as its southern African distributor.
MikroElektronika was founded in 1997 and offers a large range of development boards, compilers and programmers, as well as accessory boards, for PIC, AVR, 8051, ARM and Cypress PSoC microcontrollers. They are official third-party partners of Microchip, Atmel, NXP and Cypress. Although no strangers to the southern African market (its EasyPIC and Easy8051 boards already enjoy thorough use at a number of local universities) the appointment of a local distributor ensures local support, lower costs and shorter lead times.
Dizzy Enterprises is itself no stranger to the embedded device realm, with the MikroE distributorship complementing its existing partnerships with UK-based Labcenter Electronics and Crownhill Associates, producers of the Proteus EDA software and Proton compiler respectively. Dizzy Enterprises has a thorough knowledge of all MikroElektronika, Labcenter and Crownhill products, and is able to advise customers on the best suited products for their application upon request.
