Phihong has developed a new Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) midspan product that features a wall plug for AC power. Designated the POE16R-1AF, the 15,4 W adapter is fully compliant with the IEEE802.3af standard and may be used for a variety of applications.
The POE16R-1AF features over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature and short-circuit protection and conforms to UL60950-2. The wall plug unit features a single bi-colour LED that is used for troubleshooting diagnostics and may operate at 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps data rates.
The unit is designed for use with the Phihong R series of interchangeable clips, as well as an IEC320 C8 clip for use with a standard 2-wire C7 line cord as a desktop-style adapter.
