Microchip introduces smallest, lowest-cost PIC32 microcontrollers.
Even small, cost-sensitive designs can add advanced audio processing and human interface features with the new Microchip PIC32MX1 and MX2 MCUs. Available in 28- to
44-pin packages as small as 5 x 5 mm, these MCUs pack 61 DMIPS performance at just 40 MHz, and are the first to offer Microchip’s CTMU for mTouch capacitive touch buttons, peripheral pin select for digital pin remapping and I2S for Audio CODEC support.
Microchip will be showing these MCUs at stand G4.
The combination of innovative and flexible power-saving features, an on-chip LCD driver and mTouch capacitive sensing on Microchip’s new PIC24F ‘GA3’ family lets users create more power efficient and less costly battery-backed products. As the first PIC MCUs with VBAT, the devices maintain system time by automatically switching to backup battery power when the primary VDD supply is removed. This extends battery life by driving the application’s real-time clock whilst drawing only 400 nA.
Find out more about these new products on stand G4.
