The Option range of Mini PCI Express 3G modules was recently added to the Otto Wireless Solutions stable. Many design engineers have cottoned onto the idea of including Mini PCI Express 3G modules in their designs, due to their ease of integration. Engineers realise that their PCB design is given a longer lifespan by using a module which uses an industry standard connector, both locally and internationally. The range of choices increases exponentially as these modules are continually released with cutting edge features that ensure the longevity of the product into which they are designed. The GTM671WFS is no exception, with its HSDPA 14,4 Mbps downlink and 5,76 Mbps uplink, onboard Wi-Fi as well as onboard SIM and Micro-SD sockets.
These products will be on display at stand G5.
As the flagship product for SIMCom and Otto Wireless Solutions, the SIM900 remains a popular low-cost, feature-rich GSM engine. Its powerful ARM core delivers high performance while maintaining low power levels. Variants of the product include the SIM900B and SIM900BE, which both have mating connectors instead of the castellation layout design (the latter also provides an onboard SIM card holder); and the SIM908, which includes integrated GPS.
The family of modules is complemented with finished industrial modems, the SIM900RS232 and the SIM900USB, which are provided with standard accessories including power supply, RS232/USB cables, audio lead and antenna.
The product family provides voice, GPRS, GPS, SMS, FTP and TCP connectivity.
Visitors to the show can learn more about the products at stand G5.
