Cree now offers a new option for its 2700 K and 3000 K white CXA2011 LEDs with a minimum CRI (colour rendering index) of 90. Available in three binning options including ANSI white and EasyWhite 2-step colour bins, the parts will be of interest to customers producing lighting products for retail, high-end commercial and food service applications where CRI and colour quality are essential.
Designed for ease of use and optimised for omnidirectional bulbs and down lights, the CXA2011 offers 1000 lm at 11 W (270 mA) and 2000 lm at 27 W (600 mA). At 14 W, it delivers 38% more light from a down light than a 26 W CFL or 100 W incandescent bulb.
