Samtec’s robust PowerStrip/35 Discrete Wire Cable Assembly offers rugged features and is ideal for high-performance applications.

When mated with the PowerStrip/35 high-power terminal (PET series), the system has a current carrying capacity of 28,9 A per contact at an ambient temperature of 75°C (with two gold plated pins energised and #10 AWG cable).

The discrete wire cable assembly (PESS series) is available with 2, 4, 6 or 8 dual-leaf blade contacts on a 6,35 mm pitch. The system is double- or single-ended, with #10 or #12 AWG discrete wire cable, and a choice of assembled lengths. It also features a positive latching system for increased unmating force, making it ideal for rugged and other harsh environments.

Samtec’s PowerStrip interconnect family is designed to meet a variety of high-current applications, and includes three product levels differentiated by size and power output: PowerStrip/35, PowerStrip/25 and PowerStrip/15. In addition to the discrete wire power system, the PowerStrip family includes a power/signal combination cable system, power and power/signal combinations in right angle and vertical orientations, as well as a hinged system and press fit termination for board level applications.
