Interconnection
Webb Industries has announced the availability in South Africa of the Times Microwave SilverLine range of coax cables. Basic to the range are the SilverLine test cables, which are cost-effective, durable and high-performance cable assemblies designed for use in a broad range of test and interconnect applications.
Fabricated from rugged, solid PTFE dielectric cable with stainless steel connectors and a proven strain relief system, these cables provide long life and enhanced stability in applications where they are repeatedly flexed and mated/unmated. They are ideal for use in production, field and laboratory test environments and are also economical enough to be used as interconnects in test systems.
Some of the more common application areas for Silverline test cables include high-volume production test stations; R&D laboratories; environmental and temperature test chambers; as replacement for OEM test port cables; field RF testing and cellular infrastructure site testing.
The SilverLine test cables are phase and loss stable, and feature long flex life; triple shielded cable; high mating cycle and stainless steel connectors; rugged, solder-clamp attachment; redundant, long-life strain relief system. The cables are also available in a steel torque and crush resistant armour option.
