Legrand’s Tempra industrial plugs and sockets, which conform to stringent quality and safety specifications, have been designed to save time during mounting, connection and maintenance procedures. The P17 Tempra range, which is manufactured from polyamide 6 for corrosion resistance, can withstand the harsh effects of the most arduous environments.
These components, with capacities of 16 A, 32 A, 63 A and 125 A, are able to operate in conditions with a temperature range between -25°C and +40°C.
The body of the membrane gland has a ridged grip zone for firm handling. A fast clip-on socket enclosure and easy-to-use lid ensure safe and effortless operation. Pre-cut supple cable glands have IP44-7 and IP67-7 index protection ratings to guard against dust and water and shake-proof fixing screws are readily attached. Every unit has a removable internal connection block for easy wiring and for added convenience, the wire stripping guide is engraved.
To ensure optimum safety, the layout of pins and sockets are according to international requirements. Standard colours for each voltage and clockwise indexing of pin sockets combine to ensure that equipment is interchangeable and compatible and that there is no possibility of inserting a plug incorrectly.
P17 Tempra units (16 A/ 250 V a.c.) with a domestic pin configuration are designed to accept Arteor mechanisms. This range consists of surface and panel mounting sockets and plugs and mobile sockets with cable glands. Adapters, appliance inlets and blanking caps enhance the range.
