RS Components has received an award for outstanding sales performance from Amphenol Socapex, one of the world’s largest interconnect manufacturers.
The award accredits RS’ substantial contribution during 2011 to the sales growth of the RJ Field Ethernet connector series and the USB Field connection system designed for use in harsh environments in a wide variety of industrial, military and transportation applications. Additionally, the award acknowledges the excellent inventory support and delivery service provided by RS for these product ranges.
Presenting the award on behalf of Amphenol Socapex, Michel Albrieux, general manager, said, “The superior quality of RS’ service over the past year, from the ease and efficiency with which customers are able to find and buy our products on the RS website to the fast, reliable delivery from the RS warehouses across Europe and Asia Pacific, has significantly increased our access to customers in these regions and boosted sales growth for our business.”
