With the new 1R3 rotary changeover switch, EAO follows the miniaturisation trend for space limited PCBs. The 1R3 is a range of PCB-mount single-pole rotary changeover switch for surface mounting. It is designed especially for telecom and video equipment applications.
The switches are available in tape and reel packaging. They are highly compact and can be operated with a screwdriver. The devices have a lifetime of 800 operations at a maximum switch rating of 50 V d.c./50 mA. The contacts are gold-plated as standard and the self-extinguishing insulation meets UL-94-V0. The fully sealed base is suitable for soldering and solvent cleaning processes.
