Available from Farnell, the Gertboard is an add-on board that extends the use of the credit card sized Raspberry Pi computer board to devices in the real world, including motor/lamp control, and the sensing of voltages and currents.
The kit contains a host microcontroller that can be programmed with code written and compiled for it, on the Raspberry Pi. The kit contains the bare-board PCB and electronic components that allow users to assemble their own Gertboard. These components include buttons, LEDs, analog-to-digital converters, digital-to-analog converters, motor controller and Atmel AVR microcontroller.
