Weller has imbued its WFE 2S solder fume extractor system with a number of key innovations to produce the new Zero Smog 4V.
The new system offers energy savings in sleep mode, in which the turbine revolutions are reduced by 70% when the extraction valves are closed. The appliance also switches itself off via the Auto-Off mode after a preset time. Automatic revolution control guarantees constant extraction performance and reduces both energy consumption and sound level.
The appliance function is documented in an internal memory, can be read off easily by means of a USB stick and can be used as evidence of efficiency. The extractor has four hose connections, with a permanently installed, easy to operate Easy Click system offering many connection possibilities. Four glider rolls ensure flexible working use.
An improved filter status display (red/yellow/green) and an acoustic signal ensure early indication of when a filter needs to be replaced. The filter use time can also be preset individually; this avoids continuing operation with a spent filter.
