Denver Technical Products announced the local release of NK Technologies’ ATCR Series current transducers, which combine a sensing Rogowski coil and an integrator containing a true RMS processor as a matched, factory calibrated set.
The ATCR Series is designed to produce an analog 4–20 mA signal proportional to AC current up to 2000 A. The coil opens to pass over the installed conductors; 88 to 133 mm diameters are catered for, depending on the model.
The transducers are easy to mount in crowded panels as the split core Rogowski head is flexible, has no iron core and is only 5 mm in diameter. They easily install over bus bars, single or multiple conductors, and come in a compact DIN-rail mount enclosure.
The true RMS processor provides accurate readings on distorted waveforms like VFD or phase angle-fired SCR outputs. The output is galvanically isolated from the input for safety. The ATCR Series is designed to meet UL508 and CE requirements.
