The ZFKDS 4 spring cage printed-circuit terminal block from Phoenix Contact makes it possible to wire fine-stranded 4 mm2 conductors with or without ferrules and rigid 6 mm2 conductors within a small space.
The individual terminal blocks can be aligned with any desired pins. The firm interlock ensures a permanent bond from one terminal block to the next. The special design of the soldering pins gives a preliminary snap-fixing onto the PCB, guaranteeing that the terminal block will not 'float' upwards during soldering.
The basic 7,5 mm pitch can be extended as far as desired in increments of 2,5 mm, for example to 10 mm. The use of a plug-in jumper allows convenient bridging of the PCB terminal blocks which, for example, makes a star-delta connection possible for motor starting. Test plugs are provided, making it simple for the user to carry out functional checks.
