MEC is now introducing the Aquamec switch range that offers IP67 front panel sealing.
The Aquamec package includes a circular sealing boot available in black or transparent and a transparent or black cap that fits onto the Multimec 3F switch series. Attractive design and strong front panel sealing can be obtained by combining an illuminated switch with a transparent cap and a sealing boot and thereby getting a truly IP67 illuminated switch.
The Multimec switches have a minimum life of 10 million operations. The standard switch has recently been upgraded to 115°C operating temperature; also high temperature versions and surface mount versions, both extending the temperature limit to 160°C, are available.
