The new type of sealing makes Marquardt's 1930 series rocker switches an interesting alternative to conventional solutions. Dust and water-protected up to IP 65, the modern design of the seal contributes to the overall attractive design and is particularly pleasing to the eye.
The switch frame, seal and actuating cap form a complex component - the folder seal. This unit prevents dust and water penetrating the interior of the switch even under extreme conditions. With ratings up to 20 (4) A 250 V~, inrush peaks up to 120 A and ambient temperatures up to T 100/55, this series shows its strength under harsh operating conditions, even under extreme temperatures from -30 up to +85°C.
This series demonstrates its variety in various switching functions: ST-switches with and without indicator lamps, DT-switches with centre-OFF and switches with momentary functions are available on request. The ST-switches with indicator lamps are also available in different colours. The single and double-pole versions are the same size and all switches in this series are equipped with plug-in terminals 6,3 x 0,8 mm.
The switches are suitable for devices with protection class II and have test marks ENEC, UL and CSA.
