Weller’s WXP 65 is an intelligent 65 W soldering iron best suited for delicate soldering jobs where high temperature is required. It is available with cost-efficient XNT soldering tips featuring Weller’s ‘Fast Response’ technology.
The soldering iron is ideal for precision soldering work on LED backplanes, solar applications and micro soldering joints. This ergonomic device is comfortable to handle and easy to use. A blue ring light shows the status of the iron: steady light means that the iron has reached working temperature while blinking means the iron is heating up.
The WXP 65 is energy efficient thanks to an optimally placed sensor and the use of a lightweight soldering tip. The control parameters are stored in the soldering iron to maximise productivity and energy efficiency. A usage sensor integrated in the handle switches the soldering iron to standby or auto-off mode when it is not in use.
