Mean Well extended its RSP family by introducing the RSP-150 series, a new generation of 150 W AC-DC enclosed type switching power supply with single output. Compared to the prior-generation SP-150 series, the RSP-150 has the same length and width, but reduces height by 20 mm (from 50 mm to 30 mm) and increases efficiency by 3,5% to 9,5%.
Featuring 1U profile and free air convection cooling, the unit features power factor correction and up to 90% efficiency, and can be operated at up to 50°C under full load, or up to +70°C with suitable derating. Built-in functions include remote ON/OFF control and protection against short circuit, overload, over-voltage and over-temperature.
The power supply complies with the ITE power supply requirements per UL, CUL, TUV, CCC, CB and CE regulations and also have TUV EN61558-1 and EN61558-2-16 certificates, which can fulfil household appliance requirements. Applications include industrial automation, mechanical and electrical equipment, household appliances, instruments and any other systems that require low 1U profile.
