SKL shield clamps from Icotek are used where a cable’s shielding must be connected to the ground potential.
To enhance strain relief, they include a notch to accommodate a cable tie via which they are secured to the cable.
The clamps can be mounted via an M4 or M5 screw onto a mounting plate. For installation, existing screws which are connected to the ground potential can be used. The clamps apply a strong, constant force on the cable shield thanks to a spring contact system.
